SHOWROOM APPOINTMENTS & CONTACT
All of our rugs are available to view in our North West Paris Showroom. In some instances, we may be able to arrange for viewing in your own home or work premises.
Please contact us to arrange a viewing prior to purchase.
You are more than welcome to contact us via email at info@rugsandsons.com at any time or by telephone to arrange a viewing or make a purchase.
HOW TO MAKE A PURCHASE
If you wish to purchase an item on the website, simply contact us by sending an email to info@rugsandsons.com or give us a call at +33 659 71 15 72 or +33 618 53 29 60.
We accept bank transfers, PayPal or cash on collection. Contact us through our website with your name and contact details, as well as any information regarding delivery if you require it, and we will send you an invoice and our bank details.
Please note: All payments must clear before an item can be dispatched and that prices listed do not include delivery.
HIRING RUGS
Our rugs are available to hire. The charge for this is 20% of the total price of the rug, per week. We require payment for the total price of the rug upfront as a deposit, which is returned once the rug is returned to us.
The rug needs to be returned in the same condition as it was hired out. If it is returned dirty, the fee for cleaning is 15€ per square meter, which will be educated from your deposit.
DELIVERY
All items are available for free local pick up from Houilles, 10km northwest of Paris. Otherwise purchased goods will be sent using a courier service. We will email you with a tracking number once your parcel has been dispatched.
We send orders by parcel post or freight, and we always – in agreement with the customer – choose the best possible shipping form. Preferably also the cheapest!
We disclaim any liability that may arise as a result of any delays caused by the shipping carrier. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, such as lorry breakdown, traffic accident, major traffic delays or severe weather, we will not be responsible for any delayed deliveries due to arising out of any cause beyond our control.
We cannot be responsible for items during transit once they leave our premises and, although we aim to deliver within 3 to 5 days (within Europe), the delivery may take up to 10 business days according to the schedule of the selected courier service. Orders outside Europe typically are delivered within 5 to 7 days but may take up to 20 business days. Please get in touch if you have any specific requirements. If the parcel has not reached you in this time, please email info@rugsandsons.com providing us with your original tracking number.
Please make sure you send us a valid mailing address and a valid local telephone number for the recipient. We cannot be held responsible for items that do not reach the recipient due to incorrect details.
Contact us for international ship quotes. Customs and duties on international shipments are the responsibility of the recipient. Contact your local customs office for further information.
TRANSPORT DAMAGE
If your package is damaged on arrival, we ask you NOT to accept it. Please ask the carrier to return the package unopened. Kindly to note this on your receipt or the package, before returning it. All goods are insured against damage and theft. If on the other hand, you discover that the product is damaged when you open it, please contact us immediately.
EXCHANGES & RETURNS
We strongly advise requesting a condition description or arranging a viewing before purchase if you are unsure. All carpets are sold in 'as is' vintage condition and without warranty of any kind. By placing an order you accept that the goods ordered are vintage and made by hand, hence contain inherent irregularities.
